失业或收入有实质性变化. Please note it must be at least a 20% reduction and must have occurred for 60 days or more prior to the date of appeal
Loss of Alimony or Child Support
Death of Parent
Legal Separation or Divorce

专业判断-特殊情况-独立考虑

财政援助办公室可以根据具体情况，进行依赖撤销 for students with unusual circumstances. Unusual Circumstances that can be taken into consideration include:

- Parent abandonment
- 威胁学生健康或安全的虐待性家庭环境
- A student’s inability to locate their parents.
  
  Situations that will NOT merit a dependency override include:
  - 父母拒绝为学生的教育出资
  - 家长拒绝为FAFSA或FAFSA验证提供信息

  - A student demonstrating total self-sufficiency

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal

Maximum Hours Appeal

For those who need to do an appeal:

FAFSA Verification

Unaccompanied/Homeless Youth Form
